Im the same i have tried every type if codecs packs, software (free or paid for) i have even tried mkv convertors but still cant do what it's meant to do, untill i came across this FREE software read the other reviews and thought hay what the hell so i did and bing bang bong it's done. easy to use straight forward no quibble installation and plays everything i can think to throw at it. Give it whirl
